Rice husk is the outer shell of a grain of rice.  A natural, paper-like material that is discarded during the production of rice for consumption.

Through the processing  of food, beverages, and other products that use natural materials, a lot of waste is created.  Whether it be the discarded rice husks from the production of rice, these natural materials would go to landfill, creating unnecessary waste and possibly causing ecological issues if not properly discarded or repurposed.
